We raised €2M to give every software team its own security engineer

Today we're announcing our €2M pre-seed round, led by Vendep Capital and DIG Ventures, with participation from Greens Ventures, Further Than Capital and select angel investors.

We're on a mission to give every software team its own security engineer.

AI has changed both sides of software security at once. Attackers use it to find and exploit vulnerabilities in hours instead of weeks. Developers use it to ship more code than any security team can review. The old model, a scanner, a backlog and a pentest once a year, was built for a slower world, and it is losing on both fronts.

Defenders need the same capability, working at the same speed.

Gardera is an AI-native AppSec platform that secures your code and your cloud, and does the work itself. It finds vulnerabilities, proves them by attacking your running application the way an attacker would, and opens pull requests with the fixes. Your team only sees findings that are real, and most arrive already solved. Continuous AI pentesting is built in.

We'll use the funding to grow the engineering team in Stockholm, expand the platform's autonomous capabilities, and bring Gardera to more engineering teams.
